Alvis Electric was formed in 1976 when the owner, Richard E. Alvis, began residential and small commercial work in the Radford, Christiansburg, and Blacksburg area. Since then Alvis Electric has shifted its focus towards industrial, commercial, electrical contracting and maintenance serving the New River Valley.
